Clarendale Six Corners Vision Board Workshop
What do you see for your future? Join us at Clarendale Six Corners – at the community or virtually – for an inspiring vision board workshop guided by Annette Mileski, art therapist and director of the Center for Life and Learning (CLL) at the Fourth Presbyterian Church. Annette will lead attendees through a creative, reflective experience that will leave them feeling hopeful for what’s to come.
We’ll provide the supplies (boards, crafts, clippings, etc.) and a delicious selection of creative bites for those who attend in person. During this hands-on event, you’ll also get to hear authentic stories from current residents and feel a renewed sense of clarity and excitement for the year ahead. Joining us from home? We’ll make sure the supplies are delivered to you prior to the event. Virtual attendees will have the bag shipped to their homes.

Louis Bardales Supraconscious Anti-Pop Toonslop
Local artist Louis Bardales presents Supraconscious Anti-Pop Toonslop at the Chicago Billiard Cafe. Drawn from the poet Vicente Huidobro’s concept of the “supraconscious” and Bardales’ lifelong engagement with the visual language of comics and cartoons, this exhibition brings forth a body of work that reveals the uncanny and surreal from a new and singular vision.
Fall Nature Fest
The 6th Annual Fall Nature Fest is back in LaBagh Woods! On September 13th, 2025 from 12pm - 3pm join Commissioner Degnen and The Forest Preserves of Cook County in LaBagh Woods for this free environmentally-focused festival.
